CAUTION
Whenanassistancecallisactivatedthephoneispre-setto
handsfree/speakerphonemode.Donotholdthedevicenearyourear
whenthehandsfreemodeisinuse,becausethevolumemaybe
extremelyloud.
TheAssistancebuttonallowseasyaccesstocontactyourpredened
helpnumbers(Numberlist)shouldyouneedhelp.TheAssistance
functionmayneedtobeactivatedbeforeuse.SeeAssistance,
p.39onhowtoactivateasdescribedorwith3buttonpresses,howto
enterrecipientsinthenumberslist,andhowtoeditthetextmessage.
•PressandholdtheAssistancebuttonfor3seconds,orpressit
twicewithin1second.Theassistancecallbeginsafteradelayof
5seconds.Inthistimeyoucanpreventapossiblefalsealarm
bypressing.
•AnassistanceSMSissenttoallrecipients.
•Therstrecipientsinthelistisdialled.Ifthecallisnot
answeredwithin25seconds,thenextnumberisdialled.Dialling
isrepeated3timesoruntilthecallisanswered,oruntil
ispressed.
•Theassistancefunctionmaybeconguredsothatthereceiver
ofthecallmustpress"0"(zero)toconrm,inordertostopthe
alarmsequence.Ifthereisariskthattheassistancecallwillbe
answeredbyavoicemail/answeringservice,pleaseactivatethe
